Banding Together
Banding Together is an annual battle of the bands fundraising event pitting members of D.C.’s legal community in competition to inspire the audience to donate to their favorite act. The money raised by Banding Together filters directly to goods and services for D.C.’s homeless community. The music goes from 7 to about midnight when the winner is crowned.

Help us rock out at Gifts for the Homeless’ Banding Together: Battle of the Law Firm Bands 2015! Sponsorships are now available at all levels — starting at $250 — to stamp the name of your firm, company, education institution, non-profit or organization as a proud supporter of our concert to benefit the DC metro homeless. We are rocking out at the Black Cat in the heart of Washington, DC on the evening of Thursday, June 18, 2015. Hundreds of people — many from law firms and other organizations as well as other professionals in the DC-metro community — attend the live benefit concert each year. Last year, we received ample publicity and raised over $300,000, all of which was used for GFTH to purchase and distribute essential new winter clothing (socks, underwear, thermals, etc.) for people experiencing homelessness in the DC-metro area. This event is a lot of fun and high energy. The live music is outstanding.
Sponsorships include tickets and receive recognition on our print material, website and social media, in our thank you ad print advertisement, and to the crowd during the event.

It’s that time again, and we at Gifts for the Homeless already have our eyes set on the summer’s biggest rock show, the 12th ANNIVERSARY Banding Together – Battle of the Law Firm Bands on Thursday, June 18, 2015. The show will once again be presented in the heart of Washington, DC on two stages at the Black Cat.
We are excited to once again beat all expectations at Banding Together! Use the link right here to support Gifts for the Homeless by “voting” with your donations for your favorite among our sixteen bands. Every dollar you donate goes to purchase essential clothing and winter items for distribution through the shelter system in Metropolitan Washington and brings your band closer to the title of “Top Lawyer Band in DC.” Vote Early and Often!
