RE: Gifts for the Homeless Reminder

We recently distributed a memo concerning our participation in Gifts for the Homeless,

Inc.'s annual campaign. Please visit GFTH's website at www.gfth.org for more information about GFTH, their new clothing purchases (with your donations) and their used clothing drive.

· If you are interested in donating, see [any of the individuals listed above]:

(1) to donate by check (made payable to "Gifts for the Homeless, Inc."),

(2) to request a credit card donation form (a 2% transaction fee applies; GFTH receives the balance), and/or

(3) to donate used clothing and other necessary items for adults and children, such as winter sweaters, coats, gloves, sheets and towels, sleeping bags, blankets, and toiletries.

Please remember that GFTH consistently receives more requests for children's clothing and for warm men's clothing than it is able to fill, so these items are especially welcome.

· You can also donate online via the Donating page at www.gfth.org. A transaction fee of 3% applies; GFTH receives the balance after reduction for the fee.

· Your donations are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.

· We must receive all gifts of used clothing by Friday, December 4, so that we will be able to distribute all of the clothing during the weekend of December 4 – December 6, 2009.

· Volunteers are needed to help receive, sort and deliver the clothing on Friday, December 4 through Sunday, December 6, 2009. Please see [one of the individuals listed above] for a volunteer sign-up form. As an added incentive for volunteers again this year, one of GFTH's corporate sponsors, Tutor.com, will provide more than $5,000 worth of math and science tutoring gift cards for students in grades 4 - 12 that will be given as thank you gifts to volunteers at the drive.

It would greatly assist GFTH's new clothing purchase effort if we receive your check or credit card donation by December 31. GFTH, however, will continue to accept monetary donations after this date.
